Eight Days a Week // October

Eight Days a Week is a photo project that was created to encourage its members to photograph the everyday stuff. Encompassing a variety of themes and styles, this monthly project will be a collection of personal images from a talented group of photographers across North America. We hope to not only inspire each other with our images, but also you, the viewer. At the end of the post, follow the fun to the next blog — enjoy!

In less than two weeks, he’ll be nine.

NINE. How is this possible? How does time even work? I can’t believe this adorable little dude is almost to his double digits.

His presents are hidden in places unknown (his parents are no dummies), and any day now, I’ll draft out the rhymes and hiding spots for his annual present scavenger hunt tradition where I’ll try my hardest to be more creative than the year before. And this year, he’s already decided what he wants to do for his ‘party’ (and has had it planned out since, like, January): Chipotle, Froyo and the movies with his closest friends.

Anyways, we chased some squirrels around at the park the other day (a favorite past time of ours), and soaked up some of that golden sunshine before the weather turns more moody.
