For this session, the clouds were threatening rain, and our golden hour was more of a darker-shade-of-grey hour; but this is Washington and we embrace the weather in all of its forms. Sunshine or not, the adorable Harris family brightened the park with their love for one another. Their sunny outfits and smiles – mixed with the moody greens of the leaves – creates a unique combination that I totally adore.

What I loved most about their session though, was witnessing the straight up teamwork between them. They cuddled, played in the long grass, picked some buttercups, and chased bubbles and seemed genuinely happy to be there, together, making these memories to look back on.
