I’m not afraid to admit it: I still get giddy when we hop on the ferry and ride the boat across the waves to the big city. I moved here fresh out of high school from a very small town; the nearest big cities were hours of driving away. I’ve lived here for nearly ten years now (!!) and I don’t think I’ll ever get bored of this amazing place. I took these photos while we explored the city a couple weeks ago with good friends on a beautifully sunny, yet hopelessly chilly day.

Just like I saw the big city as a child on field trips. Just like I see it now.

Thank you Seattle, and the Pacific Northwest in general, for never ceasing to fascinate me!
