Eloping in the city holds its own kind of magic. Especially when you have bright sparkly water, your closest family members, a vintage dress, amazing florals, an intense autumn sunset, and so much good food.
It's not everyday I get to photograph stuff in the city, and whaddya know, Paige + Cesar's Elopement at the Edgewater Hotel was clearly one for the books! Even though it was early October, it felt like we got the last little slice of summer before everything turned gray and rainy. This sun-drenched micro wedding was SO MUCH FUN. Their small but amazing crew had alllllll the laughs and happy tears, and made me feel like part of the family.
The Edgewater Hotel was incredible, as always. With their mix of urban and outdoorsy features and a history of famous guests, it's a quintessential Seattle venue. Paige + Cesar's ceremony + reception took place in the Forest Room of the restaurant, with that killer view of the water. They planned their vows to take place at sunset, so we started with that bright sun flooding in; and by the time they kissed, the sun was just ducking behind the horizon. It felt like pure magic (and I'm pretty sure it was).
I'm so happy these two found each other. Love is amazing.
