She oinks like a pig. Her barks are gruff and comical. She looks just like Nibbler from Futurama. Her fur feels like velvet. And she mulches every stick she finds. Just look at that face - she's a natural at modeling for pet portraits.
When we brought her home years ago, she was neglected - nails so long they curled under and into her paw pads. She was dehydrated and drank a whole bottle of water. Smelled gross. And had mange. She was only a puppy of 9 weeks and had been kept outside in late winter/early spring. Now, she's our easy going princess, always snuggled in front of the fire or soaking up the sun. She's becoming one of the cutest little old ladies.
2020 has been so weird because I've had time to actually enjoy the summer - for the first time since I became a whole grown-ass adult - especially since becoming a wedding photographer. To be a little lazy. To spend time with my family. To grab my camera for fun random moments at home instead of working through every spare minute of the warmth. This year has definitely had its drawbacks, but I can appreciate the slowness of this time for now.
