on finality // our different sameness

I can’t believe this group project is already complete! It’s been so wonderful to be a part of such a talented group of photographers, to see life from new eyes, and to have an assignment to complete each month. If you’ve been following along, thank you! With 2014 officially over (happy 2015!), I’m excited to welcome the fresh new year and all its twists, turns and experiences with open arms.

Everything in nature is subject to cycles of death and renewal; each stage of life will run its course, but the death of one thing only means the inevitable beginning of something new. It can be hard to let go of those things sometimes, the ones that prevent us from growing into who we’re supposed to become and where we’re supposed to go in life. Sometimes it’s painful. Sometimes it’s traumatic. Sometimes it’s a welcomed change. Either way, it’s happening.

Life is magnificent. Embrace it.

our different sameness is a project between a group of photographers celebrating our differences and sameness through images and words. This month’s theme is the last to complete our 12 month photo adventure. Click the link and take a minute to see what the whole group came up with for the final installment! You can see my past contributions to the series here.
