1.

love-inclusive

& proud af

I’m passionate about really connecting with everyone I photograph. I believe that love is love, and everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect — no matter their race, gender, sexual orientation, or ability. I’m committed to helping people feel seen, celebrated, and at home in their own story. If that’s not in alignment with your values, please find a different photographer.

2.

anti-tradition & keeping it real

Throw traditions out the window. Throw posing out, too. Throw out anything that steals away your focus and piles on the stress - we don’t need those here. This is a custom experience where the best thing you can do is be yourself. I'll help you stay grounded, keep it real, and have fun along the way. I'm a small-batch photographer, which means I take a limited number of weddings each year so that you get my full focus, attention, and creativity as we create art that feels like home.

3.

got your back, scout's honor

I break the rules of tradition, yeah. But I'm responsible AF when it comes to the ultra-important stuff - I make sure the shit does not hit the fan. Like ensuring redundancy in all areas possible (carrying backup gear on the job and backing up all images to several different locations). And carrying liability insurance for everyone’s safety. And keeping track of details like sunset times, permits, and weather forecasts. Location scouting, sending outfit guidance, and timeline planning. The prep work is what sets the stage for good photos.

The good ol' PNW

I live in Bremerton, Washington and photograph adventures all over the PNW (and beyond). I'm happy to travel to you, or with you, wherever your story takes place.

I've got more than a decade of professional photography under my belt.

I've photographed more than 150 weddings and elopements over the span of 12 years. I've learned a thing or two along the way. ;)

Me too :)

Most of the people featured on this website were worried about feeling that way at first, too. In front of the camera is a vulnerable place to be, which is why I spend time getting to know you - then I can show up prepared to help you open up and feel comfortable. At the end of the day, you'll probably realize you're not as awkward as you thought, or you'll see your awkwardness in a way that helps you embrace it. Total win-win.

It's quality > quantity.

I don't focus on a specific number of photos; I put my effort into telling an artful story in the best way I can. Each wedding, elopement, and portrait session varies in terms of the details, number of people, and length of coverage. In general, I tend to deliver at least 30 final photos per hour of coverage. You'll have more favorite photos that you'll know what to do with.

Worth the wait.

I prioritize consistency of my edits over quick delivery in order to stay true to my artistic style and make sure your memories are preserved with care. Typically though, full weddings are delivered within 10 weeks, elopemenets within 8 weeks, and portrait sessions within 6 weeks. You'll have a gorgeous lil' preview gallery within 1 week of your session or wedding, so you'll have something to obsess over while you wait for the rest.

As soon as you know you want me to be your photographer!

Weekends during peak season (May through October) are always in high demand, so take that into consideration. If your date is flexible, try to book at least 2 months out. If your date is set in stone, I'd recommend booking at least 8-12 months in advance. But even if it's last-minute, reach out anyway - it's always worth a try.
